Dear Parent, Part 2: Finding Acceptance and Love at Mealtimes

Presented by Marsha Dunn Klein OTR/L.MED, FAOTA

Join Marsha Dunn Klein, pediatric occupational therapist, for a heartfelt conversation focused on helping parents who have children with Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) or Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) consider what is working and what is not at mealtimes for them and for their children. We will consider the challenges parents face through the lens of acceptance, love and connection, safety and regulation, food opportunities and curiosity, uniqueness and personal choice, and finally finding enjoyment at mealtimes. We will look at a series of questions inspired to help parents discover what is working well for their family, and what changes might support more enjoyable mealtimes.
